Perfect Weekend!

I had a perfect weekend! Just perfect...
Friday I took the girls to the Children's Museum and had a blast. I think my blood pressure might be slightly elevated from trying to keep track of the two of them - this is the first time I have been there since Maria can walk. I swear we went into an exhibit and Maria went running one direction and Julia the other. My sister and girlfriend were with so we call kind of tag-teamed with kiddos. Lots of fun! A really great day. Next time I may have to bring along Andy though, at least until Maria is a bit older... The Gang
Maria in the bubbles - I focused on her for pictures because Julia has been there so many times and this was Maria's first time that she was really into it.

Grocery Shopping

A visit with Clifford

Sliding down Clifford's tail

Saturday we went to the Easter Egg Hunt and petting zoo at our neighborhood Club House. It was a zoo - seriously. Totally crazy. Too many people and animals, literally, in one place. It would be nice if one year it was warm enough to have some of the stuff outside.... It was a nice event and the kids really enjoyed it. It saved us a trip to the mall Easter Bunny, which is always nice..
With the Easter Bunny

Looking for eggs - I was SO proud of Julia - Maria didn't really get it so she would find one for herself and then one for Maria.

Checking out their loot

Sampling the goods

Petting the bunny in the petting zoo - she only looked at the chicks and ducks from a distance - Maria was not a petting zoo fan

Saturday night my parents babysat and Andy and I went on a legitimate date. Just the two of use. Listen to how romantic we are...we went and bought running shoes (yes, gasp! I have taken up running! well, trying to run would be more like it....more about that later....) and then went shopping, for the kids, and then we did actually have a nice romantic dinner, even talked about adding another kid to shop for, and then did more shopping, mainly for the kids. What can I say? These days a little romance goes a long way. Thanks for the fun Andy! Love you!

Sunday I went shopping with my mom and sister which is always fun and Sunday night we just hung out. It was a great weekend!
